Reference Grammar (v 1.1)

You can download a pdf with the world’s only Kuaran language Reference Grammar by clicking the download link at the end of this post.

I had some fun making the document as similar to an actual reference grammar as I could. There’s an intro to the Kuaran culture, some phonetics and morpho-syntax, tons of glossed examples and even a translation of a scene from Ratatouille.

In the process of describing the Kuaran culture I took the liberty of adding some pictures of people and objects that resembled the idea I had in mind. It is their intent to describe details that might have fitted in a novel but had no place in a reference grammar. Their captions have been made up in this process, but the List of Figures in the preamble of the document contains the actual captions and sources. If any use of said images feels inappropriate, please drop me a line at contact.kuaran@gmail.com and I’ll be happy to remove them.

On that note, the inbox is open to all other types of messages too: compliments, critiques, questions and corrections are all encouraged and welcome.
